In Case Of Fire, Live In A Brick Home.

In the fire test, three walls each with a different building material (brick, fiber cement, and vinyl siding) were set up and exposed to flames for one hour. Each wall was modeled after a typical wall in a house. Cotton was placed against the side of the wall not exposed to the flames. The fiber cement did not complete the full hour before burning. Vinyl siding burned up completely in only 18 minutes. Brick withstood the flames past the one hour mark. The other side of the brick wall was still cool, and the cotton that was pressed up against the brick was untouched. Not only did it withstand the fire test for one hour, but it also withstood the shock of cold water following the test.
